Prince Avalanche [Actors-Critic-Choice]

The offbeat Napoleon Dynamite-esque comedy flick Prince Avalanche suits our cinephile palate.  Set in 1988, it’s sure to draw audience appeal with its indie feel and worthy leads in Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch. The weird storyline where two highway road workers that despise one another spend the summer together is quirky enough that it just might work, especially since the chemistry between the pair seems to be spot-on. Limited release: August 9th, 2013 by Magnolia Pictures
